Jose E. Pastora is the visionary force behind RE/MAX Masters as its CEO and Founder. As a broker and business leader in the real estate community for over two decades, Jose has extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and what it takes to make both real estate agents and a mega-brokerage successful.

Jose has twice been named “Broker of the Year” twice by the RE/MAX California and Hawaii Region. This is an accolade that is generally given once in a lifetime. These awards have led to international speaking invitations where Jose engaged thousands of real estate agents world-wide. The Los Angeles Business Journal, RISMedia, and the California Association of REALTORS® Magazine have all recognized Jose and RE/MAX Masters as a top-performing brokerage.

An adventurer and avid traveler, Jose also has built travel and hotel businesses in Latin America, most notably in Nicaragua and Mexico.

Maritza Pastora co-founded RE/MAX Masters with husband, Jose E. Pastora, and assumed the role of CFO. She keeps a careful eye on the company’s financial position in order to maintain security and stability through economic changes and housing market woes. It is because of the company’s financial position that RE/MAX Masters has been able to avoid raising membership fees for the last 15 years, even though the cost of business has increased.

Many agents would say that Maritza plays a much more important role in the company. She is an outgoing motivator and has been referred to as the company “cheerleader”. Maritza’s positive attitude and high-spirits are encouraging to all.

Among her many contributions, she also enjoys designing and decorating the RE/MAX Masters offices, as well as the businesses she and Jose own in Central America.

Two years after joining RE/MAX Masters in 1992, Mark Peterson was asked to join the Management Team. Broker/Owner, Jose E. Pastora, quickly recognized Mark not only as a savvy business man and master of communication, but also as a kind-hearted gentleman with the same integrity that the company was built upon. Mark is a valued consultant to the agents and company.

Mark Peterson is very active in the real estate community. Over the years, he has volunteered his time to the National Association of REALTORS®, California Association of REALTORS®, and Citrus Valley Associa-tion of REALTORS®, holding such positions as President, Director, and Committee Member. He was named REALTOR® of the Year in 2005.

Sharon Bowler joined the RE/MAX Masters Management Team in 2007. Having a wealth of real estate knowledge she is a great asset to the agents. Sharon is a well-respected business woman. Since 1981, she has built strong relationships within the industry often giving RE/MAX Masters agents access to the top real estate advisors in the state and country.

Also very active in the real estate community, Sharon has participated as a Director and Committee Member with the National Association of REALTORS®, California Association of REALTORS®, and Citrus Valley Association of REALTORS®. She was named REALTOR® of the Year in 1992 and 2001, and awarded the Distinguished REALTOR® Award in 2007.

DD Everson has been in real estate since 1979. Prior to joining RE/MAX Masters in 1995, and becoming a manager in 2012, DD owned her own real estate company. This experience, along with her extensive knowledge of the real estate contracts is an advantage to the agents. She is extremely helpful and giving of her time.
